I’ve received a total of 3 vials of kybella. I’m potentially looking to do 2/4 more but I’m not sure if it will help. I received the first vial in November 2020, then another 2 in April of 2021. Does spacing them out further potentially reduce effectiveness? I feel like my side profile has improved in someways (it’s less of a slope) but in other ways I feel like it looks worse, so I’m not sure if 2-4 more vials is worth it. Answer: They are wasting your money. Nothing is happening here. Kybella is a very expensive but sadly unreliable treatment. The pictures simply do not reflect a result. Often people will have 6 treatments and yet be profoundly disappointed with the results. Consider simple neck and chin liposuction. That is a much more reliable approach. Don't wast more money on this service.

Answer: Kybella for Chin Fat Reduction - add Thermage, Ultherapy, Exilis vs. VASER Hi-Def Neck Liposuction w/ InMode FaceTite/AccuTite It takes a series of treatments to get good results with Kybella. Keep in mind, Kybella is good for dissolving the submental fat under the chin area while contouring the jawline and making the chin more defined, but a combination approach is needed to get the most improvement with non-invasive options. I recommend a combination approach with Thermage, Ultherapy, and Exilis. InMode FaceTite / AccuTite with VASER Neck Liposuction is the best option for contouring and tightening the chin, neck, and jawline area. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Kybella Dear l0velee91m Kybella typically takes 3 to 5 treatments to work. This is why I've stopped carrying Kybella in my office. I recommend neck liposuction more often then any injectable procedure for the neck now. It provides superior results gives me more control over the area than any injectable. It also costs about the same as what you paid for your first kybella session. The liposuction can be done under local while awake in the office and recovery is about the same as kybella. Answer: Kybella Hi, and thanks for your question. What areas are you concerned with? I would recommend more rounds of Kybella to remove fat if you are unhappy with your appearance. My patients have a very high satisfactory rating when using Kybella in the face, but they tend to need multiple rounds for best results. Synthetic deoxycholic acid is the ingredient used in Kybella, which is a naturally occurring molecule in the body that aids in the breakdown and absorption of fat. When injected into fat, Kybella destroys fat cells, resulting in a noticeable reduction in fullness on the face. Please see a board-certified physician for your consultation. Best of luck to you!
