I am 30 years old and have had an undefined jawline and excess skin/fat on my neck for as long as I can remember. I did research and thought Kybella was what I needed but have made some calls and am being told FaceTite is the way to go, I am confused and I’m not sure exactly what I need so I’m looking for some guidance.
Answer: Jawline Definition / Jawline Enhancement / Facial Sculpting / Facial Contouring -- injectable fillers like Revanesse Versa For a more defined jawline to strengthen your profile (and help prevent the dreaded jawline "jowl" sagging), we use injectable fillers like Revanesse Versa - a filler known to limit swelling and give subtle, soft enhancements - or Radiesse. Using a cannula to limit pain and swelling, we inject on the bone in strategic points to get more lift and shaping, resulting in a more contoured lower face and defined, structured jawline. I would suggest getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Kybella Dear Kayakw10, Kybella typically takes 3 to 5 treatments to work. This is why I've stopped carrying Kybella in my office. I recommend neck liposuction more often then any injectable procedure for the neck now. It provides superior results gives me more control over the area than any injectable. It also costs about the same as what you paid for your first kybella session. The liposuction can be done under local while awake in the office and recovery is about the same as kybella. Answer: Treatment options Each person‘s individual facial look is almost entirely based upon underlying facial skeletal bone structure. It may be that your mandible is small, you have a tall Maxilla that lacks anterior malar projection. Your nose also has a fair amount of forward projection. From the pictures I’m guessing you don’t have a lot of fat in your neck. You have premature jowls that are directly related to the size of the mandible.(Jowls should not be treated with Kybella) Small minimal interventions especially when none of them are addressing the primary problem are unlikely to give you good results. Wear sunscreen daily and accept your genetic heritage or seek consultation from a senior experienced craniofacial surgeon from either oral surgery or plastic surgery backgrounds. Now or in the future you could consider a facelift if you wanted but that still isn’t going to address bone structure. Different doctors will have different opinions. Any Doctor Who just spent $100,000 buying a new device is going to be excited to use it and try to regain some of that cost. Personally I’m not a big fan or believer in either Kybella or facetite. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD

Answer: Kybella or Facetite Hi there, and thanks for your question. Kybella has been around longer than facetite, and my patients have a very high satisfactory rating after getting Kybella done. My facetite patients have given me some mixed reviews. I would recommend starting with Kybella since it is less invasive (and cheaper), and keep getting it done until you are pleased with your results. If you are still unhappy, I would recommend chin/neck liposuction with facetite/necktite which is a more invasive and expensive procedure. Please see a board-certified physician for your consultation. Best of luck to you! Answer: Volume loss Hi there, You have many options and it isn't going to be just one thing! You need volume replacement as well as kybella and skin tightening. Filler in the upper face and marionette will help as well. See an expert! Best of luck!
