I don’t really hate the shape. But it’s pretty wide and flat. Any way to refine it and narrow it? Preferable non surgical, but open to other methods. How much does it stand out, and how unaesthetic is it?
Answer: YES- I Recommend Rhinoplasty | Plastic Surgery | Male Nose Job Expert | Ethnic Wide Flat | Rib Graft | Beverly Hills Hello and thank you for your question and the pictures. Addressing the shape of your nose (especially the nasal tip) is actually one of the most common reasons people seek out and undergo a rhinoplasty. Unfortunately, there are no good non-surgical approaches which would properly achieve what you're looking for (and the ones that exist- e.g. nasal filler- carry the risk of blindness)! An open septorhinoplasty can best address both your aesthetic concerns and any functional issues with your nose. I would be able to adjust the size, shape, and definition of your nose (including the bridge, nostrils, and tip)! This truly a surgery of millimeters- and whether you're looking for a minor adjustment or a major transformation, it requires exceptional surgical skill to achieve functional and natural-looking results! Because your nose is the DEFINING feature of your face- I would only recommend seeing a surgeon who specializes in male rhinoplasty procedures, and who has significant training and experience performing these surgeries. I actually trained under one of the world leading male rhinoplasty experts (who performs 1,000+ nosejobs annually). I recommend for you to setup a formal consultation with me (or another plastic surgeon who is extremely comfortable with male rhinoplasties) to thoroughly discuss your surgical goals, undergo a formal examination, evaluate your options, and develop a personalized plan just for you. I hope this helps! Dr. Donald Groves Aesthetic Plastic Surgeon

Answer: Generally, rhinoplasty surgery is necessary to achieve nasal narrowing. Based on your photos, you appear to have relatively thick nasal skin and a broad and flat nasal appearance. These issues are best dealt with utilizing rhinoplasty techniques. I do not believe a nonsurgical nose job would make you happy. Wishing you well! Sincerely, Dr. Joseph

Answer: Nose I would say you have a fairly typical nose for your ethnicity, meaning that it does not really draw any attention because it matches with how you look overall. If you want to have it refined/narrowed, you would need to have a pretty aggressive surgery and likely involves possibly even getting some rib cartilage for you. Non-surgical, you MAY be able to get away with building it up so that it is less wide/flat with filler but it will require a lot of filler and topping it off many times over the course of your lifetime, which is pretty risky. If you are not 90%+ sure you want a rhinoplasty, then leave your nose alone as the recovery is not an easy process.

Answer: A Nonsurgical Filler Nose Job Can Help To Recontour The Nose Let me start off by saying that since beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, you have to be the one (not anyone else) to be able to look in the mirror and determine for yourself what you like and dislike about what looks back at you. You should not be influenced by anyone else's sense of aesthetics. That being said, if after reexamining this, you still wish to go ahead nonsurgically, then the use of an appropriate filler properly injected along the "spine" of the nose can help lift and thereby secondarily narrow the nose. Likewise filler added to the nasal tip can not only improve projection in the profile view, but again would likely narrow the "wings" of the nose, as well. You would be wise to consult an experienced, board certified cosmetic dermatologist filler expert. Best of luck.
