As long as you have been cleared by your Doctor, you can have liposuction and a BBL. For best results, I recommend a hi definition procedure like VASER liposuction. I use VASER HI DEF with ThermRF and fat grafting to get the most fat removal, skin tightening, contour and definition. This combination will give you the most toned and best result for body shaping of the butt. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a hi definition physique expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Thank you for your question.I would recommend that your surgeon obtain a Pre-Op clearance from your doctor. After your doctor obtains the appropriate studies, he or she can discuss with you if you are a good candidate for surgery. In addition you should also discuss with them what the risks are for your purposed surgery. After obtaining this information you should discuss it with your surgeon and go from there. For more information please watch the enclosed video. I hope you find this information useful.
The dx of TIA eliminates you from doing elective cosmetic surgery. Unless your neurologist will write a full medical clearance for the PS.
It depends. I would suggest that you first speak with your cardiologist. If he or she clears you for surgery then schedule a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss liposuction. Also, if you are the right candidate, you may want to consider liposuction under local anesthesia. Hope this helps.
Every case is different. It would depend entirely on the specifics. Obviously, a clearance from your neurologist/cardiologist would be needed. Because it is not uniformly contraindicated, you should seek consultation/evaluation to find out.
A TIA (transient ischemic event) does not necessarily prohibit you from having cosmetic surgery. The key to safety is to have good coordination between anesthesiologist, surgeon, and medical doctor. Start with the doctor who treated you for your TIA and find out what he or she recommends.
