Pain 5 weeks post liposuction, is this a cause for concern?

I am now 5 weeks post BBL and yet the lipo areas (tummy and arms) are still extremely tender and sensitive to touch. My arms have the most pain. Getting dressed is very painful becaus of the th cloths rubbing against the skin. Is this normal?

Pain can be variable and can be treated with oral neurontin. If it persists, I recommend following up with your Doctor. You may have swelling, which can last 3-6 months after your procedure. I recommend adding hyperbaric oxygen and lymphatic massage along with your compression to help decrease swelling. To improve your final results, I also recommend adding vanquish for further fat removal, exilis/venus legacy for skin tightening, cellutone/z wave to make the skin smooth, remove scar tissue, and improve the skin’s appearance. It is not normal that after a month of having a BBL a patient feels very intense pain, of course each patient has its own recovery time, some patients feel more pain than others.
It is very important that you go to your doctor and present all your concerns.
