She prescribed Derma Smoothe FS for the scalp.

I went to my dermatologist which she took a scalp biopsy.I returned 7 days later post op the Dr. advished that my hair loss and thinning was traction alopecia. She prescribed Derma Smoothe FS for the scalp. My insurance did not approve this medication it has not appoved ny FDA. And its very expensive 180.00 -399.00 Another medication was prescribed hydrocortosone cream 2.5% as an alternative. Will this help re grow my hair what are my other options do I have.
