Is it recommened to use Minoxidil for hair loss caused by Iron Deficiency anemia ?

If your hair loss is truly from iron deficiency anemia then you should treat the cause.  Minoxidil will not cure hair loss.  It only works as long as you keep using it.

If your hair loss is truly from iron deficiency, you need to correct your iron levels.Iron deficiency is complex. Without seeing your scalp, and knowing all your history, I can't say if this is related or not. Keep in mind it might not be related in which case correcting your iron won't help your hair that much.In short, this is a complex story and one can't offer advice without the complete story. If your hair loss was 100 % from iron deficiency you don't need minxodil and no - your hair won't fall out once you stop minoxidil.Is it likely your hair loss is 100 % from iron deficiency anemia? If you are Iron deficient as many women may be, then you must treat the deficiency first. Speak to your doctor about your hair loss as answering this question blindly without knowing much about you, is not good for either of us
