I heard about nanoxidil for hair growth, so I searched over the website here and found most doctors talking about minoxidil. Which is more efficient? Do they really work? Are they the best drugs for hair growth?

Answer: There is no such things a "best medicine" for hair growth. There is no generic medication for hair loss.

If your hair loss is truly from iron deficiency anemia then you should treat the cause. Minoxidil will not cure hair loss. It only works as long as you keep using it.
You can breast feed while taking Rogaine but if you are concerned always speak with your doctor. The prescribing drug book states "Probably Safe".
Propecia will cause changes in your hormones. That is why the medication works. By lowering a hormone called DHT. Technically this would be an imbalance but this is the intent and why the medication works.
