Liposuction procedure while awake?

Yes, liposuction awake with the tumescent solution and maybe some demerol and valium works great.  Completely safe and only mild discomfort.  This system is difficult to use if the love handles are really large but great results should be obtainable. It is not any more difficult following your abdominoplasty.

Limited liposuction can be performed under local anesthesia. You do not want to be in pain during the procedure so that the surgeon must stop or do less than what is necessary to provide you with the most dramatic transformation possible. Liposuction results are highly surgeon dependent. hello chetdeb13 Liposuction can be performed in an outpatient setting such as the surgeon’s office or an outpatient surgical facility.  The procedure can last from 30mins to several hours depending on the body areas being treated.  Local anaesthesia can be used for small areas, but in the case of a larger  procedure involving several areas over several hours ,general anaesthesia will provide a more comfortable and safe experience. #safety #awake

For best results, I recommend a hi definition procedure like VASER liposuction, which is performed under general anesthesia and allows for more fat removal and body contouring. I use VASER HI DEF with ThermRF and fat grafting to get the most fat removal, skin tightening, contour and definition. This combination will give you the most toned result. best advice you can receive is from an in-person consultation.  In my practice, I perform liposuction under general anesthesia or conscious sedation administered by a board-certified MD anesthesiologist.  In my hands, this produces in the safest and most effective results.   Make sure you specifically look
at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery
performed by your surgeon and evaluate their results.   The most
important aspect is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommend
that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon who
can evaluate you in person.
