I was told by a plastic surgeon who will be doing my abdomen liposuction procedure that he expects to extract about 750CC of fat. This doesn't seem like a lot. I am currently 170 pounds and 5foot 6 inches with most of my extra weight around my belly. Can I please hear your thoughts? ty!
Answer: 750cc of fat Great question. Without photos or a physical examination it is very difficult to assess since everyone's body composition is different. With the same dimensions some patients have more fat and some are more muscular. With that said 750cc should make a noticeable difference. Best of luck and hope this information helps!- Dr. Roger Tsai @DrRogerTsai

Answer: Is 750cc a lot of fat? Thank you for your question. Without photos, no specific answer can be given. Based on your height and weight, your BMI is 27. 750cc, is fat and fluid that is extracted or fat only? Do you have intra-abdominal fat as well? BTW, just removing fat from the anterior abdomen only, without contouring the back, waist and hips will give you the "sponge Bob" look. See a board certified plastic surgeon with experience in advanced body sculpting for another opinion and/or post photos of your midsection to give you a more specific answer. Good luck.

Answer: Is 750cc a lot of fat? Thank you for your question. This is really a difficult question to answer without pictures or an in-person exam. Every person is built differently. It may be a very reasonable amount, but it is hard to say. If you have concerns, consider another consult for a second opinion.Best of luck!

Answer: Liposuction Question and Amount of Fat Removed--VASER HI DEF 4D Liposculpture, ThermiRF, fat grafting It depends on the individual. Keep in mind, it's not only the fat that is removed, but the technique used for body shaping and contouring. For best results, I recommend a hi definition procedure like VASER liposuction. I use VASER HI DEF with ThermRF and fat grafting to get the most fat removal, skin tightening, contour and definition. This combination will give you the most toned result. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a hi definition physique expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Large volume vs. small volume liposuction Liposuction results not only depends on the amount of fat that is removed but also the contouring that is performed at the time of liposuction. Having said that most suboptimal results occur as a result of not having much fat removed. I would be difficult to tell how much extra fat you have about your abdomen, but I usually remove about 4,000 to 5000 ccs of fat on an average built woman who needs liposuction.
