Allergan co documented my reaction. first botox injection caused vertigo and dr thought it was coincidence, so i tried it again 6 mos later and the same thing happened. Allergan co got in touch with me and documented the reaction. i was told not to use botox or similar because it could lead to worse problems. what else can be done for the deep 11 lines between eyebrows?
Answer: Vertigo after Botox Thank you for your question, and I'm sorry you experienced an adverse reaction. I think the best option is to follow up with your injector and see what they recommend. Personally, I would advise against continuing cosmetic treatment in this area.

Answer: When Botox Xeomin Dysport can't be used for the frown "11" lines there is ThermiRase If it is determined that someone shouldn't have botulium toxin, regardless of brand, no other treatment will relax the muscles that make the skin creases, except for a minimally invasive procedure known as ThermiRase. Developed many years ago and then improved by Thermi RF, ThermiRase uses a probe that delivers radiofrequency energy underneath the skin to inhibit the muscular contractions. Local anesthetic is placed underneath the skin to make the procedure comfortable. There is swelling and possibly bruising so there is downtime of 10 days or more with this procedure. Some patients obtain 1- 2 years of benefit from undergoing ThermiRase.Venus Legacy, Thermage, Ultherapy, ThermiSmooth, Fraxel won't help the frown lines. Fillers can soften the creases but there are risks of injecting fillers in the frown lines, as there are risks of ThermiRase and one should see a board-certifired dermatologist or plastic surgeon in consultation to determine what is the best alternative option. The information provided in Dr. Shelton's answer is for educational purposes only and is not intended to constitute medical advice. Answer: Unhappy with Botox/Xeomin/Dysport--Add Venus Legacy, Thermage Although complications from botox are rare, they can occur. I suggest going back to your physician if you are concerned or getting a second opinion from someone who is experienced in cosmetics. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Botoxed! That is an odd reaction but one option would be to use some fine filler for the area. You need to make sure you see someone who does it often as this is a "known risk" area but can be done and give good results in the right hands.Hope this helps,Best of luck,DrC

Answer: I had Botox twice and each time I got severe vertigo 12 days after each. What else can I do for 11 lines? Thank you for sharing your question and experience. Because they work in slightly different ways you may wish to try another neuromodulator such as Dysport, but other options at improvement would be good local skin care, dermal filler placement, microneeding/chemical peels, and biofeedback techniques to limit your "11" activation. Hope this helps.
