Does Emsculpt actually make you stronger? I’m having trouble strengthening my leg from knee surgery. I’m wondering if I have Emsculpt treatments done on that thigh, would it help me strengthen my upper leg muscles?
Answer: Muscle building with Emsculpt Great question! It certainly couldn't hurt by strengthening the muscles around the knee. Given there will be some recovery time related to the knee surgery, but it should have no ill effect toward your recovery. Make sure your provider reviews the contraindications with you and you review them with your doctor/surgeon before you begin treatments.Possible contraindications for Emsculpt treatments are metal or electronic implants in the treatment area, cardiac pacemakers, implanted defibrillators, implanted neurostimulators, drug pumps, malignant tumor, hemorrhagic conditions, epilepsy, and (the one that may apply most to you) recent surgical procedure. So consult your doctor, but typically after healing you should be able to build leg muscle back with Emsculpt! Best of luck!

Answer: EmSculpt builds muscle. Thank you for your question. EmSculpt can definitely help build muscle. I have used this for patients that may have had injuries where one side is weaker than the other. Whether it is in the thighs, calves, arms or just wanting to strengthen the core muscles, EmSculpt is a remarkable device that can rapidly build muscle. When considering some of these off label approaches, I would definitely go to a plastic surgeon who has experience with EmSculpt in these off label uses.

Answer: Muscle Strength from EMSculpt With innovative HIFEM (High-Intensive Focus ElectroMagnetic Field) technology, EMSculpt builds muscle. Currently EMSculpt is FDA approved to treat the abdomen, buttocks, and legs. However, there is no protocol for the legs....yet. So placing the panels on your legs is "off label." Be sure to check back in with the board certified plastic surgeon you are working with once there is a plan in place to treat your quadriceps muscles!

Answer: Emsculpt Emsculpt can be used "off-label" for muscle groups besides the abs and butt. We have seen increased strength to the arms and legs, and even the upper back, from targeting those muscle areas.
