In particular, contact your surgeon promptly if you notice an increase in swelling, pain, redness, drainage, or bleeding in the surgical area, or if you develop fever (above 100.4 F), dizziness, nausea, or vomiting. Bruising after BBL occurs in a majority of patients. It is not symmetric and may only be one sided. Its late occurrence suggests its source was deep and / or you have thick skin.  If the area is demonstrating increasing swelling, firmness, or increasing pain, you should see your surgeon ASAP.  Otherwise the process should resolve on its own. It will take 6 months or so for all swelling to resolve and for your "final appearance" to be revealed.
If concerned, let your surgeon take a peek.

The healing process could be from 6 months to a year, depending on the patient. The inflammation and bruising could last months. If you have any concerns, I suggest you follow up with your plastic surgeon.
Be patient, it is too soon to determine your final result.

Hi dear, thank you for your question.It is hard to give you a proper assessment without first seeing you in person nonetheless, based on your statement it is completely normal to happen.
