I feel burning in my back 2 months after having a BBL, is this normal?

Had bbl June 9th and I still sleep on my stomach but sometimes I will turn on my side... after laying down on my side, once I turn over or get up. I feel the hottest burning sensation ever. Only for a like 15 seconds. But it literally feels like I’m being burned. Is that normal

Hello dear!!
Thanks for the question and provided information as well. 
You are still early on the healing process, at the stage you're in, this symptom is normal, so please be patient. 
I recommend my patients to try the lymphatic massages, in most cases, one or two days after surgery and to use a full body compression garment, 24/7 for the first 3 months, and after that, for 12 hours a day for 3 more months, to get the best results.

If you have any concerns, I suggest you to follow up close with your plastic surgeon.

Thanks for your question about BBL and liposuction.I agree with the information provided by the other posts on this question. It is not uncommon to have some burning that lasts for 2-3 months after liposuction.  Various massage techniques can be attempted to improve your symptoms, and I recommend visiting with your board certified plastic surgeon to discuss which might be best for you.Best wishes

Hi. The technical name of what you describe is dysesthesia, it is normal if you had liposuction on your back, and can last up to 6 months, I recommend you visit your doctor to recommend a possible treatment to avoid these discomforts.

The surgery consists of liposuction which can cause your symptoms.  You are 2 months post operative and you would expect your symptoms to be improving at this point.    You should discuss your symptoms with you surgeon in the near future since he has been following you closely.  He could do an examination and discuss a plan for you to provide optimal care.Good luck.
