Blisters and itching after BBL - is this normal?

I’m 17 days out of bbl and feel great, all bruising gone and swelling slowly going. I do however itch a lot on the lipo’d areas and noticed yesterday tiny little blisters and one slightly larger, about 3mm. I wear my garment religiously. I had my surgery abroad so not able to see my surgeon, are these blisters normal or should I go see my gp? Thanks x

It is normal for itching in the areas that you had liposuctioned.  It is part of the healing process with your nerves regenerating.  This could take up to 6 months or even longer to go away but should get better as time goes on.  With the blisters it is hard to tell you without knowing exactly where they are by an exam or pictures.  Is your garment rubbing on them?  The garment could be causing them.  You should at least call if not email your surgeon and explain to them what is going to.  They should be able to answer your questions without you going back to the office.  Best of luck to you

Brazilian Butt Lift recovery time is dependent on how the patient’s body reacts to the procedure. Patients usually return to work after a week but you should not sit without the use of cushions for at least two weeks and you must wear a compression garment for several weeks after the procedure. You should wait until at least 2 weeks after the procedure to engage in sexual activity. Swelling and discomfort normally fades at six weeks. After about a month you will be mostly healed and you can get a nice idea of the permanent results after around six months.
