I have a very defined deep cupids bow. It's a bit blurry and less noticable in the pictures but its very sharp and pointy, I was wondering if fillers or a procedure was possible to raise the cupids bow sort of like the sample pics. I do not want to do anything to my bottom lip and the size of my top one doesnt bother me only the deepness of the cupids bow.
Answer: Lip filler for Cupid's bow and philtrum Thank you for posting photos. Without a direct exam, it is hard to give you specific recommendations. It is possible to raise this area with fillers and soften the angle, to a certain extent. You seem to have a deep philtrum as well, so some filler in that area will help to "widen" the space between the philtral columns and soften the angle you are referring to. Sometimes a subtle lateral upper lip filler injection can be added, to balance the excess para-central fullness that you have. Do NOT expect to look like the sample photo, as your lip morphology is different. Try to be conservative in this area, to keep your results looking natural. Consult with experienced board certified doctors, communicate your goals in detail and you will be happy with your results. Best wishes!

Answer: Lip filler for deep cupid's bow - can it be treated? We do not recommend fillers for the white of the lip. I see your philtrum is deep, but fillers in this area may lead to a simian appearance, so please proceed with caution. Thank you. Dr Joseph

Answer: Deep Cupids Bow Thanks for your question and photos. A deep cupid bow is actually a very desireable feature that most people do not have, especially as they get older. This can be created by lip fillers. In your case, it is very pronounce and if you desire softening it can be done with fillers also. Please seek out a talented injector. Good Luck!

Answer: Lip Augmentation Options Kay. I see what you mean, you have a striking cupids bow, which is quite attractive, in my opinion. I do agree that fillers may blunt them slightly, making them even more attractive. This should be done conservatively because they look fine with no treatment. Juvederm Ultra plus Is a nice option to start out with because it is not permanent. Seek the advice of a board-certified plastic surgeon or dermatologist in your area for a full evaluation. Good luck.

Answer: Improving Lip Symmetry and Shape with Fillers (Juvederm, Restylane, Volbella), PDO Nova threads, implants fat You'll want to see someone meticulous, but you can have lip fillers to this area. These fillers, (Volbella, Restylane, Juvederm) are good to create a symmetrical and full lip. PDO Nova threads can also be used to improve shape and also provide lift. Fat or implants are a permanent alternative. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Eme
