Looks and sounds like you have a recurrent umbilical hernia. It also looks like you have excessive skin.Can't confirm without physical examination.  This can be fixed via umbilicoplasty and umbilical hernia repair.

It's difficult to predict how much of this puckering will resolve. However, at three days you would expect to see a significant improvement over a period of weeks to months.

At the 3 month mark I think is good time to discuss options and then timing you should sort out with your physician.  It's not an easy problem but there should be something that can be done without adding too many additional scars.  Best Wishes!!
