You don't want to drink anything that is going to thin your blood before surgery. Unfortunately, I cannot read the ingredients in your tea from your photo.

It's really your plastic surgeons call if using supplements  before your procedure.I personally have not seen any clinical drawback to patients using supplements in moderate doses before surgery. One thing to be aware of is the impact of narcotic pain medication on intestinal function.Almost everyone gets constipated when taking prescription pain medication.You should take this into consideration if you tend to be constipated.It's a good idea to increase dietary fiber and be prepared for increased constipation after the procedure.We generally recommend patients either increase fruit and vegetables in their diet or use small amounts of dietary fiber supplements such as Metamucil.If someone is planning on using supplements such as Metamucil after surgery then it's a good idea to try these products carefully before the procedure so that patients have a sense of awareness of how they work and the appropriate dose needed.It's generally not a good idea to wait until someone has been constipated for five or six days and then overdo it with dietary fiber or laxatives.Talk to your plastic surgeon about his or her preoperative protocols.
