I regret my blepharoplasty surgeries. Can it be fixed? (Photo)

Question

I used to have big almond eyes, I loved them. I just didn’t like the double bags below them. I went to a consultation for a lower blepharoplasty and walked away with a recommendation to do an upper too. It was done May 2023. I’m now 33 (2024) and seriously regret it all and feel like I look so much older than I did last year before the procedure. I feel like my eyes are small and round and my lower lids’ waterline now droops. Can it be fixed???

I am so sorry that you are having this experience. I specializing in fixing botched cosmetic eyelid surgery. Sadly your outcome is all too common. But there is help. In order to get that help, please understand this care is highly specialized. You will not find this care close to home. Many of my patients travel from every corner of the United States and from across the World. There is no substitute for a detailed in person assessment. You should be skeptical of surgeons who propose to assess you on a Zoom call or in a 5 minute consultation. I am attaching information about fixing upper eyelids after blepharoplasty and a video about fixing the lower eyelids. This video is graphic so don't like it if you are bothered by graphic surgical videos. Your eyes can be your best feature.

Best on your pictures I would’ve told you not to get surgery.
If patients consult with plastic surgeons, they will eventually be offered surgery.
The procedures you had are permanent and a irreversible.
Be glad it didn’t turn out worse.
