You are an excellent rhinoplasty candidate. I encourage you to read online about rhinoplasty and select your surgeon carefully based on experience and results. Going on more than one consult is not a bad idea
Hi @nancygaal. Thank you for sharing your photos-- you are an excellent rhinoplasty candidate. I recommend seeing an expert rhinoplasty specialist for an in person examination. There are several options for you that can be determined after examination. Best of luck,Dr. Nima
Judging from the photographs you shared, you are an excellent candidate for an open rhinoplasty. This would allow us to straighten and lower your nasal dorsum, and refine your nasal tip and rotate it cephalically. These maneuvers would allow us to improve the overall aesthetic appearance of your nose, while allowing it to remain in proportion to the rest of your facial features.
Hello, and thank you for providing photos along with your question. Based on these images, you appear to be an excellent candidate for rhinoplasty. The issues you are concerned about –crookedness and droopiness –are common issues that rhinoplasty can fix. I recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with a reputable board-certified facial plastic surgeon, particularly one with a strong rhinoplasty portfolio. Such experts will have a deep understanding of the nose’s functional and aesthetic elements while having an aesthetic eye for balance and symmetry. Your surgeon will give your nose a thorough evaluation, recommend the best surgical approach, and ensure the best possible outcome.
Yes, rhinoplasty can help improving the crookedness, and make the tip of your nose more defined and less projected. You might also consider removing the hump on the dorsum of your nose to improve the side view.
Thank you for your question. The answer is absolutely. It's important to speak with your surgeon about how much change is wanted as far as tip rotation and projection. It's also important to realize that while surgery is great for making the nose straighter, it most likely won't be "perfectly" straight after healing. I hope this is helpful, and all the best to you!-Dr. P
Based on your pictures I believe you can have a very natural result with a rhinoplasty. All of the issues you have mentioned can be addressed, while at the same time keeping your nose proportional to your overall face. I agree with Dr. Robert Singer's excellent advice and urge you to see a board certified plastic surgeon experienced in rhinoplasty. The Aesthetic Society is an excellent resource to find that person. Good luck!
Hi Nancy,Yes, a rhinoplasty will address your concerns. It should result in taking the focus of your face away from your nose and allow your eyes to be the initial focus. Be sure to choose an expert rhinoplasty surgeon. Good luck and be well.Dr. PerskyEncino, CA
Thank you for your question. You are an excellent candidate for rhinoplasty. I think rhinoplasty is one of the most beautifying surgeries that we do as plastic surgeons. A large portion of my practice is dedicated to rhinoplasty surgery. It is important to only see plastic surgeons with extensive experience in rhinoplasty, ie perform at least 6 per month and have performed hundreds of cases. Also, critically evaluate on-line galleries to see if their art form resonates with yours. Rhinoplasty is definitely a grey haired plastic surgeon's sport. Best wishes to you.
Dear nancygaal,it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. Based on your photos, it looks like you would benefit from rhinoplasty. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery

Yes, you will have a more symmetrical nose with rhinoplasty surgery. But you won't have a perfectly symmetrical, mirror-image nose.
