Rhinoplasty on someone with hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos?

Can a rhinoplasty be safely performed on someone with hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos or Joint Hypermobility Syndrome? I've seen conflicting info online -- one study saying it's OK if done properly, but also anecdotal reports (on message boards) about cartilage collapsing, issues with scarring, etc. Would it be worthwhile to have a consultation with any experienced surgeon, or would it require someone with special expertise in this issue? Or is it just not worth the risk? Thank you
