I'm interested in BBL! I don't want wide hips or a big butt. I just want a rounded proportionate back side. Am I a good candidate? Will I see results? Do I need to gain weight for this?
Answer: Fixing a flat ass Great question! There are a couple of ways to perform a butt augmentation, but the safest way with least complications that actually provide a modest result is with a brazilian butt lift - which is basically liposuction to harvest fatty tissue to be injected into the buttock. However, looking at your photo, you are athletic with minimal fatty tissue. Understand that with fat transfer, anywhere from 25-50% will not survive - so with the minimal amount that could be removed from your body, know that a good amount of it will not last over the long term. I do not feel it is possible to obtain your goal with the amount of fatty tissue you have. But you will still have some results, it just won't be very prominent. As far as gaining weight is concerned, I do not recommend gaining weight unless you plan on keeping it. Although weight gain will allow the surgeon to harvest more fat and provide more volume to your buttock at the time of procedure, often times patients end up loosing the weight after surgery because they do not like how big their face and other part of the body have become. Understand that with any weight loss, the volume of the buttock will also decrease. So in the short term, your results maybe spectacular, but in the long run if you end up loosing the gained weight, your buttock will shrink and all you would have done is stretch out the skin.Best of luck and hope this information helps!- Dr. Roger Tsai @DrRogerTsai

Answer: Brazilian Butt Lift You probably have enough to get about 500cc fat per side. Another option would be an implant with fat injections to supplement and soften the edges of the implant.

Answer: Fit Asian but have always struggled with a flat ass! Am I genetically doomed? You are athletic and it appears that you have little fat to transfer to your buttocks. If there is excess fat to transfer, it's important to know that your result will be less dramatic. You have the option to gain weight before surgery, but must be willing to stay at that higher weight after surgery. You could consider product implants, but it's important to understand that these have a higher complication profile than fat transfer. If you do go for consult, make sure that you find an experienced board certified plastic surgeon.

Answer: BBL candidate Dear Jeepgirl_xoxo,based on your photos, it does look like you are fit. It would be the best to visit a board-certified plastic surgeon and get an examination to be sure that you have enough fat to harvest and transfer. Answer: BBL in a Skinny Person Thanks for posting your photos. BBL's can be performed in patients who are skinny. Also, having a BBL doesn't mean you will get wide hips or a big butt. The volume you would like to add and to location of where the fat to be added should be discussed with your plastic surgeon and together, you can create a surgical plan. In you, I suspect there will be a struggle in obtaining enough fat. Fat may have to be removed from alternative areas of your body and not just your abdomen and thighs. Ultimately, the quantity of fat is an important aspect of a BBL and so a limited amount of fat may require you to adjust your expectation of the volume increase you were hoping to have. Besides implants, local tissue can be rotated in to augment you buttocks. While this result is "natural", the prominence and location of the scars makes these techniques have limited usefullness. My advice is to seek a board certified plastic surgeon who has experience in performing BBL's in women with smaller figures. Good luck!
