I had a lower face lift but recently I have noticed bulging under my chin and even saggier skin on neck than before the procedure. Is this normal and if so what would be required to fix this? Can a fix be done in office vs. surgery/anesthesia? Many thanks

At the time of facelift, most surgeons also lift the neck. Apparently this was not done in your case. You have excess skin and also platysmal bands. You will need an outpatient surgery done in a surgery center or hospital under general anesthesia to correct this.

I think your first step is to discuss these results with your surgeon. It looks like there is excess skin/platysma muscle with banding despite your facelift. Typically a neck lift will be performed at the same time to address this, however I am not sure if this was done during your facelift and would be a good question for your surgeon. Based on the appearance, I do worry that you may ultimately need a revision procedure (particularly a neck lift) to address the residual fullness/excess skin of your neck.

It's not discussed enough, but a lower facelift (necklift) can frequently leave fullness like that. A full facelift that lifts higher to pull the sagging upwards is usually better for that.  Go see your doctor, or another facial plastic surgeon, and they can suggest a good solution.
