Oral erythema multiform 2 weeks after getting Juvederm 3 lip fillers (Photo)

5 years ago a board certified plastic surgeon injected Juvederm 3 filler to my upper lip. After 2 weeks I had symptoms like fever,blisters in my gums and lips.A treatment with steroids and antibiotics wasn’t effective and according to the biopsy I developed oral EM.I’m treating the symptoms with homeopathy and I’m doing quite well the last 6 months (I had flare ups every month beforehand).).I want to enhance my upper lip but I feel that fillers are risky.What are the options to get bigger lips?

Hi there, thank you for your question and photograph. It is hard to see in your photograph if your filler has migrated, however, filler typically lasts about 12 months. Since it's beyond 12 months now, most if not all of the product has more than likely been metabolized and needs to be refilled....
