Best option for my big front teeth?

I had braces a few years ago but I still wasn't happy with the results when they came off. I have always felt like my two front teeth are too big and goofy looking. I have thought about veneers but I know they don't last forever and can be very costly for the rest of your life. Is there any way to correct this problem without veneers? Thanks in advance.

Pictures are very important when discussing your current smile and cosmetics.....but the proper shape of your two front teeth should be proportional with your other teeth, what we call The Golden Rule of Proportions, some base this on Phi.  If you make them smaller you will have spaces unless the adjacent teeth are also modified....so I would recommend your dentist propose your options which might be something like these 1) crowns on the two front teeth with veneers on the adjacent or 2) IPR-reduction/enamelplasty to re-shape teeth naturally concurrent with Invisalign/ortho to close any spacing.  Maybe the two front teeth are the correct size but the adjacent teeth are too small....Good Luck!

Pictures would be necessary to specifically address your concerns.In general, cosmetic recontouring of the enamel of teeth can give them a new appearance.Orthodontically, it is possible to intrude teeth to give them a shorter appearance.And, a combination of the two techniques works quite well.See an orthodontist that treats adults, as well as a cosmetic dentist for consultations to address your concerns!

Without seeing a picture it's tuff to give an accurate answer.  However, the front teeth have a lot of enamel on the edges, sometimes 3-4mm before the underlying dentin is exposed (nerve bearing weaker tooth).  This allows a dentist to reduce and reshape the front teeth with ease while still keeping your teeth healthy and strong.  We call this procedure an Enamoplasty (we drill away tooth) and many dentist do them for a very small fee since it's so easy and takes very little time.
