I finally have on veneers and I feel as though they are bulky and they stick out. Can this be fixed? (photo)

It looks to me as though you had a significant overbite to begin with, which placing veneers will not correct.  You may need to consider orthodontics to correct this.  Express you concerns to your dentist and I am sure you guys can figure out a good solution.  Good luck.

Your veneers don't look too long because the height/width ratio appears appropriate. Shortening the veneers would give the teeth a square appearance.    Your profile photo also seems to show the arc of the teeth are aligned well.  I would need to see a photo of your teeth before the veneers were placed to better assess the cosmetic result.  You may need to consider orthodontics to move the teeth into a better position. 

Before pictures would be very helpful in assessing the situation fully. If you had an overbite before your veneer treatment you would still have one after veneer placement. However veneers can be adjusted so that you are more comfortable. Talk to your dentist about possibly recontouring or shortening them. Good luck to you!

It is difficult to asses this with out pictures of your smile before veneers.  Did you have an overbite before veneers, how large was your gap?  I am sure if you explain to your dentist your problems and phonetic issues, he is able to adjust your current veneers.  good luck.
