I've had my 6 temporary veneers for 4 days, and today I noticed that the top of 4 of them have a darkish appearance that wasnt there before, right under my gums. Is this normal for temporaries? What caused this? Is this a bad sign that the finals will potentially have issues?

Answer: Temporary Veneers It is very common for temporary veneers to discolor in the mouth as the fit of the temporaries are not as intimate against the tooth as the final veneers will be.

Answer: Temporary Veneers Dark at the Top Hello and thank-you for your question. It is normal for temporary dental veneers to darken at the top as they are made from an acrylic material and can stain quite quickly. Once your new porcelain veneers are placed, you shouldn't have an issue, just make sure that you are happy with the color and fit before your new porcelain veneers are cemented and bonded into place. If you have any concerns while wearing your temporaries, you may want to schedule an appointment with your dentist. Good luck with your new smile!
