I am scheduled for eyelid surgery in Ottawa on Feb. 20th, 2018 but have not met my doctor, is this wise?

I have had constant tearing, said to be due to "dry eye syndrome" and have been referred by my Optometrist to an Opthamologist, for eyelid surgery in Ottawa. I have not had a consult appointment with my doctor,; I am just expected to show up for this surgery on February 20th, 2018. I am uneasy going into this surgery without due consultation process with the actual surgeon. What do you advise?

Lower blepharoplasty will not improve nasolabial folds.  Depending on what you're trying to achieve, a little properly placed filler will smooth them out.  Be well!
