Answer: Binder after TT revision The binder used after TT serves to functions1)to make sure that your muscle repair is held together while it heals;2)as compression to the soft tissues so you don't get what we doctors call a hematoma or seroma (these are fluid collections that will prevent you from healing optimally.For the second reason, you may want to wear a binder at least for a short period of time, especially if there was any dissection.
