Hi all, I had septorhinoplasty 3 weeks ago. I noticed my nostrils are uneven... One looks pinched at the top. I still have stitches in that nostril and they ache a little bit. Do you think my nostrils will even out? I attached a photo. You can see the stitches too and how uneven one nostril is. Thanks in advance!

The decision to use a splint is made by the surgeon. If he feels comfortable not using a splint then he will have a reason for that. There a lot of structures which provide support for the nose including cartilage and skin so it is not always essential to use a splint.

dermatitis and see an experienced nasal surgeon for issues of difficulty
