The more definitive treatment for the scar is to continue with sequential treatments of the scar with the microneedling. Over time this will slowly decrease the appearance of the scar. A more aggressive treatment of the scar would be using Fraxel non-ablative laser too. Some choose to do Fraxel treatment x 3 sessions then follow up with microneedling sessions monthly to continue to improve the appearance of the scar.
