Would a BCA cream work best to remove my syringomas? I also have had CO2 once and they came back within a couple months. Arethese even syringomas? Have you had success with completely removing all of them and not having them come back
Answer: CO2 laser can help even out skin texture under the eye Fractional CO2 laser is an excellent tool for skin rejuvenation in our center in Santa Monica. We use the fractional multi-depth ablative approach to help resurface the skin, recontour acne scars, improve incisional plastic surgery scars, and reduce surface irregularities from skin tone to dark pigmentation. Our approach utilizes a multi-depth approach that targets melanocytes in the epidermis and collagen fibroblasts in the dermis. This approach can be combined with a TCA Peel in a process known as a sapphire peel. Fractional laser is excellent for acne scars and contour scars in the skin. Patients are advised to undergo skin protocols with Melarase creams before and after treatment to help reduce pigmentation. Melarase AM, Melarase PM, and Melapads can seriously improve surface sun damage and UV related pigmentation. After the laser, we expect redness for a few weeks as the skin improves. PRP and Hydrafacial enzyme facials can further improve skin quality after fractional co2. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: Fordyce spots, Laser and Isotretinoin These look like fordyce spots, which are basically prominent sebaceous glands. There is often a genetic tendency for these. If patients are bothered by them, I usually treat them with either a combination of ablative and fractional lasers (often Erbium:YAG and CO2) or a series of fractional CO2 laser treatments, followed by a course of treatment with either a topical retinoid such as Tretinoin or oral retinoid (isotretinoin/Accutane). Visit an experienced dermatologist for best results. Best regards, Shobhan.

Answer: Syringomas lasers, and treatments Syringomas are non cancerous benign tumors. They can be treated with laser (see video in the web reference below), however they can be recurrent. I normally use erbium followed by Co2 Fractional. If recurrent I place a unit or two of Botox as it inhibits sweating- as syringomas are sweat duct tumors. For more on the procedure, refer to the web ref. below. In your case, these spots look like Fordyce spots, agree with Dr Manoharan - I think medical management as he outlined is in your best interest. All the bestDr Davin Lim
