Should I use more gel for acne scars after the Fractional CO2 Laser (10600nm)? (Photo)

Dear Doctors, I had Co2 laser done last week ( February 2). After this laser treatment, i feel that my acne scars aren't improved better. It still existe deep scars on my cheeks. Should i use more gels for acne scar ( Mederma, Hiruscar post acne, Ultra Dermatix,...) to get the best treatment? How long will I use theses medecines? When ? ( after 5days from laser treatment). Thank you very much !

It looks as if you may have hypertrophic scarring or hyperpigmentation caused by the laser, I would suggest a formal consultation with an expert to begin wound healing treatment. Best, Dr. Emer

Your acne scars should do very well with the CO 2 laser, you should expect some redness and peeling after the treatment, after which the skin will heal and improve over the next few months. The CO2 laser will not make them worse, however, if you don't see any results after a few months, do...
