Just had Restylane in my lips and now I have to take amoxicillin for an unexpected tooth infection. Is it safe to take so soon?

I just had restylane in my lips now I have a tooth infection. Can I take amoxicillin? Will it effect the filler in any way? How long do you need to wait before you can see a dentist to have any work done? I don’t want to ruin my filler but I want to go to the dentist as soon as it is ok.

See your dentist.  They can safely assess your tooth pain. It is better to fix the lip treatment than loose a tooth because you did not get a tooth problem addressed. Antibiotic will not prevent loss of the tooth pulp that might necessitate a root canal. Get the care you need now.

YOu can take amoxicilllin with your filler. There is no interaction. I would get to the dentist if you have a toothache. they will not hurt your restylane and your tooth is more important
