Answer: Breast pocket too big? I am a little confused what you mean by "flipped". Do you have shaped implants or round implants? If it is the later, having it rotate shouldn't affect your results. Regardless, if you implant is moving around that leads me to believe that your breast pocket is too large. This will need to be fixed surgically. Schedule an appointment with your surgeon to discuss. Best of luck.

Answer: Questions about "Flipped" Implant 6 months post Breast Augmentation It is not entirely clear when you say "flipped" implant if you mean turned over or rotated. There are also different implications depending on whether your implant is a round one or anatomic style and you didn't specify which one you have. Regardless, this issue usually reflects a breast implant pocket that is too large for the implant. My recommendation is to return to your surgeon, discuss the findings and your concerns and then formulate a course of action which would require surgery. You would also be advised to seek a second opinion from a reputable board certified plastic surgeon.Good luck!Steven Turkeltaub, MD
