Bumps on side of nose bridge where nose meets the cheek/eye region 20 days post op (Photo)

Question

I asked this question few days back but recieved no advice. I noticed two bumps on side and of my bridge where nose meets the eye/cheek. I can't tell if they are firm (bone like) or spongy ( swelling). I am aware this is most likely where my nasal bones were broken but I'm just wondering do those lumps go away as swelling goes away or do they become more prominent/ visible?? I'm still very swollen in upper part but I'm worried my bridge will end up staying this wide and the bump will be visible.

After a rhinoplasty, it's quite common to have some lumps or abnormalities on your nose. These may result from: 
-Swelling: This can continue for several months and is a normal aspect of the healing process. 
-Tissue scarring: Scar tissue can develop throughout the healing process and can result in bumps. 
-Nasal anatomy beneath: In certain instances, bumps may be caused by the form of the cartilage or underlying nasal bones. 
The location where the osteotomy was performed may be connected to the hump you're observing. Osteotomies, or incisions made in the nasal bones, are frequently used to remodel the nose during a rhinoplasty. Sometimes, these wounds leave behind little anomalies that might show up as bumps. Osteotomy lumps typically take a few months or even a year to completely go away. This is only an estimate, though, and personal experiences may vary.
For a conclusive diagnosis, it's crucial to speak with your surgeon. They can do an examination, evaluate the healing progress, and offer tailored guidance. The timeframe for osteotomy bumps to resolve on their own varies significantly from person to person. Depending on factors such as: 
-Severity of the bump:: Bigger bumps could take longer to heal. 
-Individual pace of healing: Some people recover more quickly than others. 
-Surgical technique: The healing process may be impacted by the surgeon's expertise and competence.

Your after photo is dark and does not show a visible bump in the blue area you marked. As you suspect, this may be at the area where your osteotomies were performed. Bony swelling in the area may diminish spontaneously such that the osteotomy may be felt, but not seen. Sounds like it's pretty early to judge here. It may very well be the break-points of the osteotomies that you are feeling but that may soften and reduce over time if so. Some surgeons will recommend taping and/or massage to the area but you should check with yours. If the bumps are still palpable and visible at 3-4 months, you should feel comfortable discussing with your surgeon to better understand what to expect in terms of further improvement.

how you heal from this point is largely unknown.  You will probably be able to feel the bony bumps and maybe even see them but the bone bumps usually remodel to a smaller size over time. You will definitely be less swollen. All you can do is gently squeeze /press the lumps with your fingers  to help with the remodeling periodically.... and be patient.
