I have had fillers for over 7 years in my lips. They’ve been migrated and I have gotten them dissolved a few times before. This last time I got half a syringe and then was pregnant and so I couldn’t dissolve at the time and they looked migrated. I have since had 5 rounds of dissolver. The first 4 were above the lip as we thought that was where the filler was but nothing improved. 5th time we dissolved in the actual lip and the indentation is not improving. What is happening? I’m in my 30s.

Fillers have the potential of creating permanent changes to tissues.
We don’t quite understand the process, but it is most likely related to ongoing inflammation from the procedures, leading to a buildup of scar tissue.
This seems to be more prevalent in people who have fillers done multiple times over long periods of time.
When individuals have permanent changes from the use of fillers reversal of the filler, may not restore things back to the way they were before the use of fillers.
Fillers included the risk of some permanent changes.
There is no treatment to reverse these changes when they happen.
