Are my lips overfilled or migrating? (Photo)

Question

Since April 2023, I’ve had 0.5mL Vollure, 1mL Juvederm Ultra (2 months later), 1mL Vollure (6 months later). My last treatment was three weeks ago. I’m wondering if the last treatment pushed filled up past my vermillion border. My injector uses a cannula and is highly trained. Will I need to dissolve or will this degree of migration metabolize on its own in time?

Hello; hyaluronic acid fillers dissolve gradually within 1-1.5 years. Do not stress about that at all. Do not have fillers on your lips for a while. Now, it looks like; the upper lip is protruding above the contour line. Due to this, you shouldn't add more volume. There is also overflowing in the side contour lines of the lower lip. It's a sign that; you shouldn't have fillers for a while too. I do not advise for you to have procedures; such as dissolving Hyaluronidase. These can be done in very necessary situations, but your problem will already solve as the time passes.

Without reference pictures, it’s difficult to make an assessment.
To me your lips look great and I don’t think you should do anything.
If you feel that your lips are overfilled, then back off a bit on next time you have lip fillers.
I don’t believe fillers migrate.
 Think this is a concept created in order for providers not to take ownership of their own poor technique.
