You should combine with Vanquish to get more fat reduction and zwave/cellutone to improve the swelling more rapidly. Swelling can last 2-6 weeks. Best, Dr. Emer.
Thank you for your question. Swelling, bruising, and numbness can last 2-3 weeks. If you have any concerns, please speak to your provider. Regards,
Thank you for your question. Coolsculpting is a fat-freezing procedure for non-surgical fat-reduction treatment. It uses controlled cooling to eliminate stubborn fat that resists all efforts through diet and exercise. Some swelling, bruising and numbness can occur after treatment. This can last up 2-3 weeks. If you have any concerns please contact your treating physician.
The vast majority of Coolsculpting clients will experience swelling post treatment. This feeling of being bloated can last from 2-3 weeks, and is not only normal but necessary. The body is drawing fluids into the treated area, in order to begin removing the destroyed fat cells through the lymphatic drainage system. The post treatment numbness of the area combined with the swelling creates the illusion that the area feels hard. This will subsist within a few weeks. If the swelling does not go down after the three week period, please see your physician for an evaluation.
Swelling and bruising are common after coolsculpting. Most patients experience some swelling. This typically lasts 2-3 weeks. Massaging the area and wearing compression can help during this time. On rare occasions a patient will take pain medicine . If you are concerned you are not progressing as expected, contact your treating physician.
Side effects of swelling, pain and bruising can last up to 2-3 weeks . If you have any further concerns please contact your treating physician.
In general , Coolsculpting swelling post treatment is minimal . Some people can have more moderate swelling which typically resolves in 1-2 weeks . You can still have residual deeper swelling for over a month, but this is not common. Rare cases of panniculitis have happened , which all do resolve but can take several weeks to months . If swelling persists more than 2 weeks, you may want to schedule a follow up with your provider.
This is something that I warn patients about. Normally for a couple of days you can not get into your cloth due to the swelling. This is the time that fat cells are getting removed. If it goes beyond 2-3 days ask your physician to be reassessed. in case of severe pain you need to call your doctor immediately.
Thank you for your question. Every clinic usually has their own payment plans. I would recommend speaking to your provider. Regards,
Hello, Thank you for your question. It is often said the best thing about CoolSculpting is that it works, and the worse thing about CoolSculpting is that it works. You can over treat an area, causing it to look indented. It is best to make sure there is enough fat in the area, and that it is...
Swelling is a part of the CoolSculpting process and this may be the cause of what you are describing as jiggly. The cooling process causes inflammation and this reaction is what helps the body get rid of unwanted fat cells. Some patients have noticed wearing a compression garment in the treated...
You’ll need to have a consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon to determine which procedures will be sufficient to address your specific concerns. It sounds like you may be a good candidate for a tummy tuck, since CoolSculpting® can help eliminate some lingering fat but it won’t tigh...
Great question! Once the applicator is removed along with the gel pad the area is massaged in a circular then kneading motion for a total of 2 minutes. You will notice redness in the treated area that will typically last 30-60 minutes. I encourage you to research other CoolScu...
Coolsculpting costs will vary. For best results with Coolsculpting, I recommend adding a combination of radiofrequency treatments like Vanquish, Venus Legacy, Exilis Ultra for skin tightening and with Z wave/Cellutone for skin smoothing. In our practice, we use a Fire and Ice treatment of Cool...
