I had a neck lift/platysmaplasty almost 2 years ago. I was very happy with the immediate results, however, after my sutures were removed, the scars at my hairline began to widen significantly. I used Biocorneum/silicone as directed by my surgeon. I had 3 rounds of PRP microneedling last year at his suggestion. Scars are still very visible. Is micropigmentation a good option, or would surgical revision be better? What causes scar widening like this?
