This is called the mental crease, so-called because it is directly above the mentum (I.e. the chin). This rather routine problem is quite readily handled by the use of a robust HA Lifting filler to elevate and smooth the transition between the prominences of the lower lip and the chin. It is possible that you could also see improvement with Botox in the mentalis muscle. Over time, without Botox, you could see a mental crease develop in that area. I would recommend a combination of both treatments- filler to soften the shadowing and Botox to stop the muscle movement that is contributing to the appearance.
