Is there any way to fill the dents between my bottom lip and chin? (photo)

I just recently had chin and jawline filler, but was wondering if it was possible to use filler to remove these indentations. I’ve had filler in my smile lines before and it filled them out pretty good, maybe that could work in that area as well?

Yes, dermal fillers can be used to smooth out the indentations between your bottom lip and chin. Since you've had success with fillers in your smile lines, a similar approach may work well for these indentations.

The key is to use the right type of filler and injection technique to achieve a natural look without overfilling. The photo provided demonstrates a prominent horizontal depression" running side to side below the lower lip and above the chin. This is called the mental crease, so-called because it is directly above the mentum (I.e. the chin). This rather routine problem is quite readily handled by the use of a robust HA Lifting filler to elevate and smooth the transition between the prominences of the lower lip and the chin. This area could be treated with dermal fillers such as Juvederm Voluma or Vollure to improve what some call "chin shadows"
It is possible that you could also see improvement with Botox in the mentalis muscle. Over time, without Botox, you could see a mental crease develop in that area. I would recommend a combination of both treatments- filler to soften the shadowing and Botox to stop the muscle movement that is contributing to the appearance.
