After blepharoplasty lashes seem to stick straight out (no curl)?

My blepharoplasty was 4 yrs ago and prior to the surgery my lashes curled up and when I put mascara on my lashes they were very visible. Now the lashes seem to stick straight "out" (no curl) and no matter how much mascara I put on or even if I use a lash curler, the lashes cannot be seen. It looks like I do not have any lashes or even mascara on. Is there a product I should use to get the curl back or a particular brand of mascara that will give some curl to my lashes? Thank you.

the treatment for lash ptosis are CO2  laser treatment at the tarsal skin as well as surgical correction with suturing the tarsal skin to the levator aponereusis. there are less invasive procedures that will curl your lashes for three months and has to be repeated and that is lash lift.

What you are describing is called eye lash ptosis.  Generally I find this after upper blepharoplasty when the blepharoplasty has also cause a degree of upper eyelid ptosis.  The surgery in these circumstances weakens the insertion of the levator aponeurosis.  The effect beyond the eyelash ptosis is the shading of the top of the eye caused by the heavy upper eyelid and the heavy eye lashes.  Correcting this structure issue also set the stage for performing an correcting anchor blepharoplasty that supports the eyelashes.  Expert revisional surgery required for this.
