Hi there and thanks for your question and photos. Though it is difficult to assess your under eye area based on photos, it appears that you would benefit from a lower blepharoplasty. The area under your eyes has what are called fat pads, which bulge and create the look of puffiness. While a filler may disguise the fat pad and fill in the area slightly, a blepharoplasty gives the longest lasting results and only takes about 25 minutes to complete under a light anesthesia. I recommend getting a consult with a plastic surgeon for more information. Best of luck!
Dear Calgary, Itappears that you have evidence of fullness in the lower eyelid region at youryoung age.Althoughthese usually occur in individuals as they get older, in certain families, theycan present sooner. Thesechanges can make a person appear tired, sick and older even when they feel fineinside. Thebest options would be surgery to remove or relocate the fat in this region. Fillerscould help to camouflage the bags but surgery is the more definitive option.Bestto seek out an Oculoplastic Specialist in your area. Ihope this was helpful.
Thank you for your inquiry. Puffy under eyes are usually caused by herniated fat pads and are very common and easy to treat. Using a non invasive treatment of hyaluronic acid filler injections, like Juvederm or Restylane, we can help camouflage the protrusion to give you a well rested and smooth appearance. Although surgery is a more permanent option, going the less invasive route with injections can last you a long time and give you a great result. Best of luck!
Under eye bags can be permanently corrected with surgery or temporarily camouflaged with fillers. There are great non-surgical options to fill in under eye depressions and hollowness. Using dermal fillers, a liquid eyelift can be performed. A dermal filler such as Restylane would be placed in the cheek and tear trough to hide the depression or bag underneath your eye.Surgery would require a fat-repositioning lower lid blepharoplasty. In this surgical procedure, fat from the eye area is moved into the tear trough depression filling the actual depression. I hope this helps!
hi, you do have some puffiness to your lower eyelids. I would consider laser resurfacing, however, you may also benefit from a lower blepharoplasty to remove the prolapsed fat pads.
It appears you have orbital fat (bags) under eyes, not fluid. You should be a candidate for transconjunctival (scar-less) lower blepharoplasty with fat bags repositioning to fill the hollow area below the bags.
Put your finger on top of your under eye "bag". What you are feeling is your orbital rim. The circle represents a loss of volume at the interface between the lower eyelid and the top of the cheek. This is the tear trough area. This area can be beautifully addressed without surgery using the hyaluronic acid filler Restylane. Do not let anyone use so-called smooth fillers in this area like Restylane silk, Belotero, or any of the Juvederm products in this area. Do not sign up for surgery without first trying filler service from a world class injector. These are absurdly fussy services and who does the treatment makes all the difference. You are getting the face sculpted. I suspect that hyaluronic acid filler will work for you until your mid forties. Do you homework on the injector. The beauty of the hyaluronic acid filler because it can be modified or reversed with enzyme if necessary.
Thank you for your question. You are a very pretty young lady and do not look like you are 40 or 45 years old.The puffiness that you see is caused by the protrusion of normal eyelid fat pushing out on the lower eyelid skin, this is not fluid buildup. In addition the dark cervical or shadow underneath the puffy area cals attention to the puffiness of the eyes. The most definitive procedure to correct this problem is called a trans-conjunctival lower eyelid blepharoplasty with arcus marginalis release and fat grafting. However it is important that she seek consultation with an experienced board certified plastic surgeon for proper diagnosis and treatment recommendation.
Your appearance suggests that the 'lower orbital rim'/upper jaw/cheekbone is 'deficient' which leads to the 'fullness' of the tissue under the eye. Ideally you would have some form of augmentation of the area under the lower lid/orbit rim; and perhaps a reduction of the fat tissue protruding in the lower lid. Genetics can lead to changes at differing ages so the key is to determine the anatomical cause and deal with it for the best long term solution rather than short term measures.
I'm biased but I recommend seeking an oculoplastic surgeon who has a background in ophthalmology but also extensive fellowship training in plastic surgery around the eyes and face. Oculoplastic or oculofacial surgeons typically perform more blepharoplasty procedures than any other type of d...

Surgery is surgery; it's invasive, aggressive, more expensive and entails a bit of downtime. The simplest approach to a chalazion, and one which I routinely use for my patients and family, is the simple intralesional injection of the anti-inflammatory agent, triamcinolone--the same one used to...
