Nose is still slanted 4 months after rhino/septoplasty, is this just swelling? (Photos)

My nose has still been slanted 4 months after rhino/septoplasty. It even looks big on the right side and smaller on the left. Although it's not as slanted as before, I was hoping that I would get better results. Could this be due to swelling or will I need a touch up?

You need to have patience with your body as it begins to heal. The skin, bone and cartilage are all traumatized during surgery. Inflammation (swelling) is the normal response and will help your nose to heal and look beautiful in the end. Right now, concentrate on other things you like to do and let your nose and under eyes take the time to heal. It can take up a year for your final results. I hope this helps.

This is likely a combination of ongoing swelling and cartilage memory. Your nose may not end up perfectly straight, but hopefully it is an improvement from before surgery. And hopefully you breathe better.

based on the way you’re photos were taken yes it does show as though there is a deviation to the left. Please continue follow up with your surgeon and allow time to pass for all of the swelling to resolve. If you are not happy with the parents of your nose around 9 to 12 months, you should see consultation with a board-certified facial plastic surgeon that specializes in revision rhinoplasty. Thank you for your question. It can take 6 months or sometimes even longer for the swelling to settle post rhinoplasty. So you may need to give yourself more time to assess the final result. Please see your surgeon if you have ongoing concerns.
