So I just had my first time dose of Botox for my crows feet. It was very small, only 3 units each side. I didn't even think about it but I am traveling this weekend and have already paid for a non-refundable facial with microdermabrasion. I didn't even realize I may have to wait since I'm a newbie to all of this. Should I still be ok to have the facial?

Answer: Microdermabrasion after Botox Thank you for posting your question. Yes, you can have Microdermabrasion 2 days after Botox. If fact, you can safely have microdermabrasion followed by Botox or Dysport on the same day! I have done this many times. The microdermabrasion treats the superficial layers of the skin and the Botox is injected into the underlying facial muscles. I recommend that you consult with a Board Certified physician in order to obtain the optimal results. Best wishes, Dr. Richard Swift
