Can I have a microdermabrasion facial after 2 days after Botox?

Question

So I just had my first time dose of Botox for my crows feet. It was very small, only 3 units each side. I didn't even think about it but I am traveling this weekend and have already paid for a non-refundable facial with microdermabrasion. I didn't even realize I may have to wait since I'm a newbie to all of this. Should I still be ok to have the facial?

Thank you for your question.Having a microdermabrasion 2 days post Botox is safe. To be sure, see two or more board-certified providers in your area for a
complete evaluation to make sure you are a good candidate and that it is safe for
you to have treatment.

I typically have both done on the same day just do the microderm first then the botox injections. Best, Dr. Emer.

If it's been 2 days since your Botox injection, you are fine to have your microdermabrasion. My only concern is that 3 units of Botox on each side is an extremely low dose, and you may not see much of an improvement. Thank you for posting your question.  Yes, you can have Microdermabrasion 2 days after Botox. If fact, you can safely have microdermabrasion followed by Botox or Dysport on the same day! I have done this many times. The microdermabrasion treats the superficial layers of the skin and the Botox is injected into the underlying facial muscles.
