I had botox 6 days ago and my hooded eyes are becoming more heavy and hooded. I have previously had botox twice elsewhere, and noticed within the first 3 days that my brows were elevating. They did not morph through various shapes. I also worry that if I return to the person whose work I am not happy with, they will make it even worse.

Answer: Botox Effects The effects of Botox certainly can take a couple of weeks to become fully effective. We generally recommend a follow-up for all of our patients at two weeks to see if they would like any adjustments as the effects settle into place. Unfortunately, if your eyebrows already feel heavy they are probably not going to get lighter until the effects start to wear off in a few months. I would see if the office kept a detailed description of your last injection so that next time you could ask for less and have it placed a little higher in your forehead. This is where working with the same injectionist over time can pay off as he or she learns your preferences and can give you more predictable results each time you come in. Similar in concept to staying with the same hair stylist year after year.

Answer: Botox effects It can take two weeks to see the full result of your treatment. If you are not happy with your result and do not want to return to the same person, consult an experienced cosmetic dermatologist or plastic surgeon who can assess you and determine if you require additional Botox treatment to help or if it is best to let the Botox effect wear off and start over.

Answer: Botox can take about 10 days to fully kick in The results of Botox can take about 10 days to fully kick in, so you may have a few days to go until you see the final results. You don't have to return to the same injector again. If it's your lids that are heavy - not the brows - a prescription eyedrop can help.
