Lumps/bumpiness with abdominal tightening almost 6 months post op tummy tuck. Should I be concerned? (photos)

I have noticed recently there are some small lumps/bumps in my abdominal area. I am currently training for an upcoming bodybuilding competition in 3 weeks and just want to make sure I shouldn't be concerned. I haven't contacted my doctor yet. Thought I would post here and then call if recommended. Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Thank you for sharing your question and photographs. These areas of lumps and bumps are not characteristic of a tummy tuck and need to be evaluated by your surgeon.  Whether scar tissue, fat necrosis, or suture-related, I would voice your concerns.  Hope this helps.

You may have several areas that have healed with some degree of scar tissues.  This may need to be revised, but first you should contact your plastic surgeon and discuss you concerns.  Options may include additional liposuction to smooth the area along with fat grafting.  However, talk to your surgeon and see what they have to say.Best wishes and good luck.

Thank you for your question. These lumps that you see are likely residual pockets of fat. I recommend speaking to your plastic surgeon with your concerns.  The lumps would be very simple to correct.

These could be areas of scar tissue.  An examination by your plastic surgeon may give you more definitive information.  The tightening you are experiencing is normal as your body returns to your active lifestyle.
