My labs finally came in and my AST came in at 226, but my ALT was normal. The two weeks prior to my blood test I was on narcotics, and Cipro for a severe kidney infection and I had the office coordinator tell him this. Can anyone tell me if he will clear me for surgery with this AST count, considering the circumstances with the meds I was on? I don't drink alcohol, and don't have liver disease, or any symptom of liver disease. My ekg was totally normal. Anyone?
