Is it okay to do dry brushing my body before Mommy Makeover?

I would say that it sounds like the soaps and oils you are putting on your skin are natural and should be find to continue. However, you should talk to your plastic surgeon to make sure that he/she does not have any objection. #PlasticSurgery #MommyMakeover #Preopskincare 

I would not dry brush within 24 hours of surgery.  You should shower the evening before and the morning of your surgery using a strong antiseptic soap and not place any oils, deodorant, powder, perfume or lotion on your skin.Good Luck!

Typically your routine doesn't need to change unless the dry brushing irritates or breaks the skin. However, I would highly suggest you call your plastic surgeon and talk to him or her about this as he may have different suggestions and protocols.

I recommend you call your surgeon's office to ask this pre operative question. Our advise over the internet might be contray to your chosen surgeons!

If dry brushing is your normal routine and you do not produce any abrasions/redness/irritation, it should be fine up to the day of surgery, but check with your surgeon.Also, you should be OK with your normal skin care routines if they do not produce irritation.The night before or the morning of surgery, however, shower and do not apply any products
