How long do I have to wait in between procedures?

I want a mommy makeover asap. Also I want to have each procedure done by the best in each field rather than convenience. So how long do I have to wait between each one? I want to have dental makeover( 4 wisdom teeth extractions,1 canine tooth extractions and veneers), Labiaplasty, Brazilian butt lift, and last I will have a Breast augmentation and tummy tuck (at the same time). Hi, there!  Thank you for your question.  I typically wait approximately 3-months between procedures to allow for optimal healing.  Many of the procedures you are seeking to have done can certainly be combined.  It is often an excellent idea to stage a tummy tuck, with liposuction being performed at the first-stage (as part of the Brazilian Butt Lift) to deflate your abdomen and allow for maximum excision of skin at the second-stage. The breast augmentation and labiaplasty could also be performed during the second-stage.  Staging your procedures in this fashion will offer the best results.The best way to assess and give true advice would be an in-person exam. There's no particular standard. Most surgeons would wait about six weeks as a matter of custom. This of course would depend upon convalescence from the first set of operations.

Dear Vivababe,   Safety should be your main consideration and than, obviously good results.    1.  Labioplasty, the best plastic surgeon is in your neck of the woods - Dr Gary Alter.    2. BBL is a waste of time and money because the fat disappears after 6 - 12 month or even faster as I have seen on many patients who came to my surgery center for butt implants surgery after their big disappointment from the fat injection that was done by other surgeons. Your best option is butt implants. When done correctly, they look natural and are very attractive. Not all results are the same, because there are different techniques, different implants and different skills. so do your due diligence. Consult only with board certified plastic surgeons who do lots of butt implants surgery in accredited surgery center for your safety. Check the before and after pictures in the photo gallery, to make sure that they are numerous, consistent and attractive.   3. Tummy tuck and breasts augmentation.  I have been doing plastic surgery for 28 years. Based on that experience I would strongly recommend to split the tummy tuck and the breasts augmentation into two separate procedures. Patients over estimate the ability to handle 2 painful operation and as a result they can have severe complications like blood clots, pneumonia etc because they stay in bed without ambulation or drinking enough fluids.  Tummy tuck should be your first procedure, because your body will change dramatically after surgery - your posture will improve and most likely you will lose significant amount of weight due to the muscles tightening that will reduce your ability to eat food as before and the sense of hunger. Again experience and skills are paramount and the photo gallery will help you in your selection of the better surgeon.  4. Dental. Do it last. Make sure to ask your dentist if being intubated will put your veneers at risk in any way.  If so, do your surgeries first.  The labiaplasty can be done under local anesthesia.  The Brazilian butt lift and breast aug/tummy tuck, will be done under general anesthesia.  I would wait at least 3 months in between the surgeries that you need to be under general for. Board certified plastic surgeons are highly skilled to perform all of these procedures. It doesn't make sense to have 4 separate plastic surgery procedures with 4 different doctors. 4 separate anesthetics and recoveries, together with the expense is not in your best interest and can be risky. Typically, if a doctor has excellent results with tummy tuck surgery, he or she will have excellent results with breast augmentation too. Labiaplasty is not performed by all plastic surgeons, so I agree that you may need to do that separately by someone else.

For the surgical procedures in general you will want to wait three to six months between them.  This time frame can vary by surgeon opinion as well as how you are progressing through recovery.  The time for the dental procedures may be less.  For the labiaplasty you may be able to accomplish your desired goal with a non surgical approach.
